ELFT Research and Innovation Conference

We presented the SASH study at the ELFT Research and Innovation Conference 2025.

The event is open to all staff, service users, carers and members of the public. The event consists of brief presentations on a wide range of research projects that are being conducted in the Trust.

Research Assistant Rimsha Parvaiz presented a poster on ‘Preliminary Practitioner Experiences of Delivering SASH: A Solution Focused Intervention for Young People and Their Carers Presenting to Emergency Departments Following Self-Harm’.

The poster focused on early findings, focusing on practitioner’s experiences of delivering SASH. Using interviews with practitioners, the poster explores what it was like to deliver the intervention, what worked well, and how it supported young people, their carers and the practitioners themselves during a time of crisis.
